Thanks to our AFT, we are a part of a new member texting system that allows us to reach out to all of our members (members currently in the system) by name, within hours!
Then, each member can respond directly back to an individual staffer and get all questions and concerns responded to directly. We were so impressed with the ease and efficiency of the program. It was encouraging to receive such affirmative responses from so many members—so many responses that supported unions and union workers.
This system is just another example of the many services that AFT provides to its many (over 3,500) locals.
