If you are interested in running for a PFT Executive Board position, a 2018 AFT Convention Delegate position, or a 2019 AFT PA Delegate position, you must submit nominating petitions to the Nomination and Election Committee chairperson by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 9th.
Half of the PFT Executive Board is up for election this year including the following:
Vice-President for High School Level – 1
Vice-President for Middle School Level – 1
Secretary – 1
Financial Secretary – 1
Trustees – 2
Secondary Group Representative – 1
Middle Schools Representative – 1
Elementary Group Representative – 1
Paraprofessional Group Representative – 1
Technical-Clerical Group Representative – 1
IU#2 Group Representative – 1
At-Large Executive Board Members – 4
There will also be elections for 40 delegates to the AFT Convention this summer (it’s in Pittsburgh!), and 30 delegates to the AFTPA Convention next year!
